Welcome to the 2025–26 School Year!
On behalf of the PTA Executive Board, we’re excited to welcome all Mira Catalina families, both new and returning, back to school!
Mira Catalina is a special place, thanks to our close-knit community of students, parents, teachers, and staff. We’re looking forward to another great year on campus and continuing to support the educational and enrichment opportunities that help our students thrive.
Our PTA Membership Drive is underway, and we invite everyone to join! Membership is just $16 per person and there’s no volunteering commitment required. Becoming a PTA member and donating to our Whale of a Donation fundraiser on the registration page helps fund essential programs and create a more enriching environment for our students and staff. If you’re curious about what the PTA does or are interested in getting more involved, we’d love to see you at our general meetings, held on the second Tuesday of each month. These are open to everyone come say hello, hang out, meet the PTA Board, and participate as much or as little as you’d like. Our General Meetings are the second Tuesday of each month in the MPR.
Thanks to your memberships and donations, the PTA is proud to support a wide range of programs and events, including:
Art at Your Fingertips, Reflections, Spelling Bee, Field Trips for every class, Movie Night, Science Fair, Halloween Harvest Festival / Trunk or Treat, Talent Show, School Garden, International Day, School Dance, Red, Yellow & Green Ribbon Weeks, Teacher Appreciation Week…and so much more!
We encourage every family to sign up for PTA membership. Please help us to invite your entire household, grandparents, relatives and neighbors...anyone can join and show support! No volunteer time is required, but if you’re interested in helping out, we’d love to have you involved.
